What to do in case of accident?
In the event of an accident, make sure you are in total safety; If you are injured, contact the emergency service immediately (112) to obtain medical assistance. Contact us using the Official App or by calling the dedicated assistance number, you will be given instructions to follow step by step. We will ask you for information and/or documentation useful for reconstructing the dynamics of the accident. Then call the approved roadside assistance number, providing the operator with all the information for immediate assistance and follow the instructions given to you.
Do you need the friendly accident report form (CID)?
To find the roadside assistance number for your rental, contact us by phone or chat and request assistance for an accident.
The roadside assistance telephone number may differ depending on the rented vehicle. Below are all the affiliated roadside assistance numbers:
- Unipol Rental (from Italy): 800.936.603

Instructions for Drivalia telephone assistance:
- Start the call by calling the correct number
- Press KEY 2 – Long Term Rental Assistance Services
- Press KEY 1 – Roadside Assistance
Within 24 hours you will be asked to provide a detailed report of the accident, attaching photographs and the CID form duly completed in all its sections.
What to do if there is a counterparty involved in the accident?
- Fill out the CID (Amicable Accident Report) together with the counterparty involved. The CID is a useful document for recording accident details and establishing responsibilities.
- Be sure to exchange important information such as names, contact details, insurance of the vehicles involved and witnesses, if any.
- Depending on the rented car, fill out the correct form:
- Module Unipol Rental: CLAIM REPORT FORM WITH COUNTERPARTY
- Module Kinto: CLAIM REPORT FORM WITH COUNTERPARTY
- Module Drivalia: CLAIM REPORT FORM
- Remember to send all the required documents (CID, Report Form, driving licence) and the relevant photos of the vehicles via email to customerservice @e-vai.com
What to do if there is no other party involved in the accident?
- Depending on the rented car, fill out the correct form:
- Module Unipol Rental: CLAIM REPORT FORM
- Module Kinto: CLAIM REPORT FORM
- Module Drivalia: CLAIM REPORT FORM
- Please ensure you provide all the details requested in the attached form, including vehicle details and relevant photos of the circumstances of the accident.
