Territorial connection, green mobility and tourism development of Lombardy municipalities: this is what was discussed in the second Webinar, promoted by E-VAI in collaboration with ANCI Lombardia.
E-VAI and electric mobility
All the interventions helped to retrace the history of E-VAI, which began to propose the electric mobility when few people still believed in it: an intuition that turned out to be right and that allowed her to enter a large group like that of FNM. E-VAI plays a fundamental role in serving communities, covering the last mile even in the smallest municipalities or even in their hamlets.
Here, in summary, are the contributions brought to the debate by some of the intervened.
- Giacomo Ghilardi, vice president of Anci Lombardia and mayor of Cinisello Balsamo, underlined the awareness of municipal administrations of the usefulness of providing citizens with effective and sustainable mobility services, also from a tourism and territorial connection perspective.
- Raffaele Cattaneo, Councilor for Climate and Environment of the Lombardy Region, spoke about the beginnings of the innovative idea, which matured more than 10 years ago, which led to the birth and development of E-VAI: a completely electric and sustainable car sharing, capable of integrating perfectly with the other sustainable means of transport already present throughout the Lombardy region, the train, and which would lead the way towards the mobility of the future.
- Giovanni Martino, CEO of E-VAI, focused his intervention on the implementation of infrastructures dedicated to car sharing also in the municipalities and peripheral territories of Lombardy, as an opportunity to enjoy beautiful attractions but until now considered remote, unknown or unattainable with other means and which, consequently , are currently ignored by traveler flows.
- Luca Pascucci, General Director of E-VAI, launched an appeal to the Lombardy municipal administrations to make car sharing a reality, not only by equipping the area with shared electric vehicles, but also advising them to adopt innovative formulas, present in the offer of E-VAI, such as the one that involves the shared use of an electric car between the Municipality and citizens.
